Farewell Maya

Time goes by, things get busy and we often come to take advantage of the good little things in life. Then there comes a time when a loved one passes on. Maya was a quirky dog (can you say SHELTIE), but she was a loveable little gal. During the years, she was always looking out for us and being a good little pup. Well loved by the new grandchildren, she sat patiently out of the way when the little ones needed the attention and watched with delight as they came and went. Meanwhile, she always delighted in playing the straight-man in Heidi's comedy routine.

Unfortunately, during this time, she became an older dog and her body started to fall victim to the ageing process. When it was her time to go, she went as stoically as she had lived. She was a trooper. We will always remember her fondly. |
