Well, it looks like fall has finally arrived. Heidi really likes taking walks on sunny crisp fall days. In fact, the only thing she likes better than that is...........

Rolling in leaves, and twigs, and dead grass, and yes, that too! Usually she doesn't do too much damage though. The situation at left was a bit of a bother to correct as the branch was rather nastily embedded in Heidi's fur. Fortunately, being the (perceived) hero that I am, I was able to free her of her torment, without infringing on her good nature. ...And I do consider the licks a just reward.
