Introducing Nikita |

Ah...So little time, so much to chew. Such is the life of a
little puppy. And nowhere is this more evident than with our new puppy,
Nikita (a.k.a. Nikki, Nikolai the Warrior, La Femme Nikita, etc.). Born a
sturdy girl from Pennsylvania, she was the product of an intense internet
search and as luck would have it, she has proven herself to be quite an
affectionate little handful.

Like any new puppy, she needs a whole lot of attention and
training and Big Sister Heidi can't really do it alone.
Fortunately, Heidi does have a lot of patience, being willing to take the back seat for a while and barking out orders when necessary. It had been a while since the old gal had used her herding skills, but they come back quite smartly when she needs to corral the newbie.

| Nikki has taken over a role left abandoned by the demise of her predecessor: The House Omnivore. Her appetite carries her from nails for breakfast to woodwork for lunch and vegetation (mainly houseplants) for dinner. Fortunately she is very cute and we therefore let her live. As a matter of fact, she has the plushest head of any puppy I know. Oh, they're so cute when they're small... |  |
