Hi! It's me, Paul.
It's been a long time since I first picked
up the accordion. Since then, I have learned that the
accordion isn't as fashionable as it used to be. That is
why my love of music (and all things that makes noise)
has forced me to adopt other tools to channel my visions.
With that said, I have done some very interesting stuff
with my time over the years, from playing guitar, sax and
lead vocals in a band called Idyll Eyes and playing bass
in a country band, to playing keyboards in a funk band.
While I've had a great time performing,
I have also been active in the realm of sound
reinforcement, working with the Dave
Antunes Sound Co., as well as doing some
studio recording on my own. My technical background also
proved helpful in getting a job as producer for "All
Request Saturday Night" with Bruce Palmer at B101 (WWBB)
radio and maintaining a three-year stint with the Channels 12/64
news department in Providence, RI, as a Video Photographer/Editor/Live
Truck Operator.
While I enjoyed the TV job, it was time
to move on and now I keep my creative juices flowing
doing audio/video/multimedia work at home. It
seems like I don't get much of a chance to pick up the
accordion anymore, but when I do it still doesn't seem
fashionable. The way trends go, maybe in another twenty
years...........................
